HantsLUG December meeting
Well we’ve just had the last HantsLUG meeting for 2006. One of our busier meetings - 37 people through the door including Pete Savage (and his entourage) who did an excellent talk on Python and GTK with a very polished presentation.
I missed Adam Trickett’s talk on DIY web design unfortunately as I was busy helping set up Sandra Laythorpe’s PC. I’ll just watch the video when Tony’s weaved his magic.
The next meeting is a bit of an experiment as we are gatecrashing Surrey LUG’s January meeting at Redhat’s HQ in Guildford. I’d like to see how many people we get turning up - we often seem to get a much lower turnout at Aldershot than
Southampton, one that I don’t think is justified (Southampton has excellent bandwidth, but then most people have broadband these days anyhow).
