More email setup
Well today I setup IMAP using dovecot which is what I’ve used for pop in the past. I looked at the well known courier alternative and also at bincimap, however those both seemed inferior – either not maintained or without a good focus on security.
After a while spent trying to get the dovecot convert plugin to work I gave up (it seemed to have some issues – I fixed some, but thought life was too short). I then used the mb2md program instead.
Roundcube was then installed to allow web access to my mailbox.
Lastly hostap was setup again so that my linux box is controlling the web access once more. This may change to a netgear access point I have kicking about if I think it needs it.
