A simple matter of…

Well after what must be about 6 months of trying (of which about four were spent waiting for Neil to get some squash shoes), we’ve _finally_ managed to have a game We played about once a week when we both worked at Dyadic, but then we both left and so were no longer in the same area. That’s still the case to some degree, though my work isn’t too far away from Neil, Reading is in the way (which is dreadful for traffic).

Anyhow, we were both free this evening and managed to book a court. We’ll probably leave it a few weeks for the encounter, I need to let my thumb heal (I managed to rip off the top layer of skin due with a combination of my poor grip, unhardened skin and a miss-hit ball which twisted the racket) and Neil needs to get his breath back!

Hopefully get a few more rallies in next time.
