Penny Flanagan
On a much lighter note, I should really blog about my favourite music artist - Penny Flanagan. She’s Australian and unfortunately hasn’t recorded for some time and sadly isn’t very well known. I heard an album at some friends many years ago and have been addicted ever since. I’ve only managed to get one album off ebay so far (and sadly she won’t see money from that). I really wish I could get her other albums ripped at a really high bitrate (and in fact I’d like CDs too!).
Oooh - now I _can_ buy her other album. That’s made my day! In fact, just reading about CD Baby they give about 50% of the sale to the artist (rather than the miserly 10% that the big companies often do). Great stuff.
