Upgrade from 2.1 to 2.2:

• install flashrec
• run flashrec, select /sdcard/recovery-RA-hero-v1.7.0.1.img (failed)
• reboot, hold power+home
• wipe: data/factory reset, dalvik cache, SD:ext partition, battery stats & rotate settings
• flash zip (FroydVillain-1.5.0-release-signed.zip)
• enable apps2d:
  • partition sdcard: partition (32MB swap, 512MB EX2, rest FAT)
  • partition sdcard: SD:ex2 to ext3
  • other: move apps + dalvik to SD card
• Update radio
  • copy to SD card, reboot to recovery mode, flash it, reboot
  • it will reboot a few times, once back at recovery screen, reboot, do _not_ remove battery
• grab faster kernel
  • 691MHz ATM (up from default 576MHz) (729MHz was unstable)

Keyboard fix from http://briefmobile.com/guide-install-android-2-3-keyboard:

• install http://briefmobile.com/Fabolous_GBKB_Fix.zip
• this errors with normal recovery "E:Missing file: system/app_store/LatinIME.orig.apk E: Verification failed"
• so flash clockwork mod, then use that to install the zip
